Nurturing Ecology While Building Enterprise

What are the most pressing environmental challenges in China and India? And how to tackle them?
by China-India Dialogue

In 2018, frequent extreme weather events have increased public awareness on climate change. In India, Kerala’s worst flood in a century claimed hundreds of lives, and super typhoon Mangkhut affected nearly three million people in southern China, resulting in a direct economic loss of 5.2 billion yuan (US$746.7 million). Nature once again sounded the alarm for humanity.

China-India Dialogue invited Chinese and Indian experts to discuss the most pressing environmental challenges in their respective countries, how to best tackle them, and how China and India can work together for the cause of environmental protection.
