Leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states began the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of State via video conference on Tuesday as regional countries look to the organization to ensure global prosperity and security.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and other SCO leaders at a virtual summit that focussed on ways to improve connectivity, security, and trade in the region.
